Annual Events - Gay Pride Weekend - Aug 3, 2008

The Vancouver Pride Society celebrates the city's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community, and those that love them the last weekend of every July. With performances, seminars, educational events, demonstrations and of course, a gigantic parade, Vancouver Pride Weekend draws hundreds into the city every year, particularly to the gay-friendly areas of Davie Village (In the West End) and on Commercial Drive (in East Vancouver). The Parade usually occurs Sunday mid-day, running down Denman Street to Sunset Beach. For more information, visit VancouverPride.ca.
