Top Things to Do in Vancouver This Week

Apr 27, 2009

It's looking like it will be a week of beautiful, sunny weather, but the forecast shows clouds and rain all through the weekend. Hopefully you have some time to enjoy the outdoors at some point, or you'll just have to stare longingly out the window. Here are some things to do in and around Vancouver this week:

Monday, April 27, 2009 – Canstruction 2009

Canstruction

See gravity-defying sculptures made entirely out of cans of food at Canstruction Vancouver 2009, presented by Terasen. This is the seventh year of Canstruction, and the theme is "THROUGHOUT HISTORY from Caveman to Spaceman". All cans will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, and while admission is free, cash donations are appreciated as every $1 donated means $3 worth of food for the food bank.

Canstruction is at the New Vancouver Convention Centre West Building (1055 Canada Place), Exhibition Hall C until Sunday, May 3, 10 to 6 daily. Find out more at Canstruction Vancouver.

Tuesday, April 28, 2009 – Chris Cornell
