If you were a child of the 70's of 80's you might be familiar with this classic children's fable by Pierre Berton about five siblings who discover a secret world. See internationally renowned choreographer Judith Marcuse's hit show EARTH=home, which tells the story about the state of the earth as seen through the eyes of nine people. Using dance, music, text and technology, Marcuse explores the environmental challenges we face. The GLASS Youth Choir, accompanied by 200 singers from across North America, will be performing Sing for the Cure, a song cycle about breast cancer. Proceeds from the event go to the BC Cancer Foundation and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Global Promise Fund. Curtain time is 8 pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Hamilton St. and Dunsmuir St.).
